I’m interested in revealing what stands behind nature. The interconnectedness, the ordinary but fleeting moments within our natural world, and the place that humans have in it. My practice is a mapping of nature, capturing what I observe and envision in the landscape's ever changing disposition. Through a multidisciplinary practice I aim to record nature's ability to simultaneously be resilient yet relenting to time. Witnessing the innocent yet volatile aspects of character derived from close observation of nature's subliminal beauty.

Adelia Roberts is a multimedia artist working primarily with painting, sculpture and alternative photographic printing processes. She holds a BFA from the State University of New York at New Paltz and an MFA from the University of East London. Roberts has exhibited nationally and internationally. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
